What is National Apprenticeship Week (NAW)?
National Apprenticeship Week is a week-long celebration to highlight the achievements of apprentices and employers around the country and the positive impact they make to communities, businesses, and the wider economy.
NAW 2024 is the 17th annual celebration, with this year’s theme being ‘Skills for Life’. This theme is reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to develop a workforce with future ready skills.
Across the week organisations are encouraged to host events inviting employers, apprentices, parents, carers, colleges, universities, and schools to demonstrate the value of apprenticeships. Types of events and activities can include educational fairs, job fairs, community events and virtual events.
At Elysium Healthcare we will be celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by recognising our apprentices, learning about their apprenticeship journeys, and sharing their stories. Tune in from the 5th of February on our Linkedin and Facebook and discover everything you need to know about apprenticeships at Elysium Healthcare.
